| vista | NVIDIA Graphics Driver updates I am fairly new to Vista and do not know much about the internal systems so I am a bit in the dark. Was using Windows movie maker and my system crashed without warning. Upon rebooting it did it twice more and the windows on screen are not displaying properly. The error message says. This problem was caused by NVIDIA Graphics Driver, which was created by NVIDIA Corporation. There is no solution for this problem at this time. A driver update, if available, might prevent this problem from recurring. Upon searching in my browser there are several comments about NVIFIA drivers causing problems to the system and I am unsure what to do about the problem. I do not want my computer to keep crashing or cause further problems by installing updates...................Help!!! |

| Vista x64 + Windows 7 x64 (Ultimate) | Re: NVIDIA Graphics Driver updates Or, if you have installed the Nvidia Control Panel, there is a way for it to download the correct driver for your system. just make sure you uninstall the old driver first from Device manager, reboot, cancel the wizard when you're back at the desktop and install the new driver (make sure you right click and install as an Administrator). |

| Vista | Re: NVIDIA Graphics Driver updates HI Ellie112001, my name is Rick and I work with the Windows Outreach Team and would like to help. Sometimes updating drivers leads to problems that can be frustrating. I am providing a link to the Vista Help and How-to webpage regarding hardware driver updates. There are tips and instructions on getting the correct driver, or “roll back” a freshly installed driver. Tips for fixing common driver problems - Windows Vista Help . Another option you could try would be to go to your PC manufactures support page and download the latest drivers from their site. Good luck, Rick |
