Strange problem with NVIDIA 178.24 WHQL drivers

Hello!

I recently installed Vista x64 Business on my macine (specs are below).
I downloaded the newest drivers directly from NVIDIA:

GeForce Release 178

I started the installation ,everything worked fine, BUT...at the end of the "green install bar" it stopped for a few minutes and then finished saying "The software didn't not make any device changes" or something like that. I was puzzled since those are WHQL drivers.
When I closed the install program, Vista came up with the standard:"This program might have not installed correctly." Then I was really worried.
I reinstalled Windows again just be sure but I got the same thing.
Well, after that second take, I restarted the computer, and everything worked fine (!!!)
Drivers were up, properly displayed in device manager ,everything working. Since then I'm running Aero, playing games, 3dmark vantage went well...

I shared this with you just to see if anyone had any similar experience?

Welcome IvanI, don't worry, you havent done anything wrong, it may just be a problem with the installer, sometimes the executable can become corrupted while downloading, if the drivers are showing as installed then they have installed, if you get strange artifacts on screen then you need to get worried, in regards to the windows messgae saying this program may not have installed correctly, it is because windows detected that you interrupted the installer while it was installing, or the corruption may have caused it, theres nothing to worry about. Just keep an eye on it for the next couple of days.

Thanks for replying.
Well, everything works without a problem. :)
I'm sure that I've downloaded the file correctly since I've downloaded it two times (2x format). Who knows...
Oh well, it works,no reason for me to worry. :)

edit:
well, to answer myself and all those with the same problem.
this is from NVIDIA Release notes:

Windows Vista 64-bit Issues

Single GPU Issues

• When installing the driver, the last page of the InstallShield Wizard states that “the
system has not been modifed” and that you must run the installation again.
You do not need to run the installation again. Instead, click Finish and then reboot your
computer to complete the installation.
