| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Startup Repair by 'BadDriver' Hello, I've reinstalled my Windows Vista because I was getting 'Startup Repair' while booting. I thought formatting and reinstalling would help, so it seems not. I'm still getting Startup Repair when starting up my computer (let's say the chance of getting one is about 50%). It suggests restoring to an earlier point where everything worked, but it does not. However, when I cancel the option to restore my system it says following: Startup Repair could not fix this computer automatically: Problem Details Problem Event Name: StartupRepairV2 Problem Signature 01: AutoFailover Problem Signature 02: 6.0.6000.16356.6.0.6001.18000 Problem Signature 03: 2 Problem Signature 04: 65537 Problem Signature 05: unknown Problem Signature 06: BadDriver Problem Signature 07: 0 Problem Signature 08: 3 Problem Signature 09: WrpRepair Problem Signature 10: 2 OS Version: 6.0.6000.2.0.0.256.1 Locale ID: 1033 Especially the 'BadDriver' thingy actracts my attention. Though I do not have a clue which driver it could be (if this really is the problem).. Some help is greatly appreciated,, |
