vista home-canon scan software
Installed canon mp 830 scan software from disc and IE stopped working. un-installed and tried some of the usual fixes, nothing. I get a network cable unplugged message, cannot connect.
Any Help??

From your message, I suspect you have tried a system restore?
Another obvious question: is is possible you have a cable or connector problem after fiddling with the scanner cables?

I did try system restore from a few different dates, message was unsuccessful. The print-scan-fax device is an all-in-one so I wasn't messing with cables.
It's still under warranty, guess I'll take it back for repair
