Vista - 5590 driver works for HP 5550 scanjet

I found out that my driver for my scanjet 5550C was not working with Vista. I read in a thread that the driver for 5590 would work and I downloaded it from the HP website. It works like a charm. Thank goodness for all of you who post on this forum. Stamping Angel

I have downloaded the Samsung ML-2010 driver (DR/200812/20081204094823546/ML-2010_GDI.Vista .exe). My OS is Vista Home Prmium 32-bit. However, when I run the driver, it showed "The service cannot accept message at htis time". Please help!

Did you right click the installer and "run as administrator" that often helps

I saved the file and right click it to "run as administrator". Unfortunately, it showed the same wordings " The service cannot accept message at this time".

Have done a little more research but the only advice I can find is to wait a little while and retry, Which I'm sure you have done .

The only thing I can suggest is re-download the file in case it's a bad download.

The other option, (as the error relates to a "busy service"), is to start in "safe mode and try installing from there, or a re-boot be be required and then try the install, (Run as administrator) as soon as windows completes loading
