SCSI DVDRAM driver not found

I am trying to reinstall Vista and when I get to PE it says it doesn't have the SCSI driver for the DVD-R. I have Googled and found firmware but no driver for it. It is called HL-DT-ST-DVDRAM_GSA-H60N SCSI CdRom Device. I found one reference that mentioned Teac but not sure if that is the manufacturer. It is in an ACER 5640 Desktop and I have been to their download site but SCSI CD driver is not listed. Any ideas?
