Vista - Geforce 260 driver problem VIsta 64

Hi I just reinstalled vista and I'm having problems with my graphics driver I will install it and then restart and when windows is done loading it goes to a blank screen and says no connection In safe mode the gpu shows up in the hardware manager and works fien in safe mode I am using vista x64 ultimate and Iv tried most of the verisons of the drivers

not really having much luck with computers are you lamb? i can only suggest that theres an issue with your install if your having so many problems with vista, the reason your card works in safe mode is because your graphics drivers are not in use, its using a standard vga driver that is supplied with vista for diagnostic purposes and before you install a gpu. I can only suggest you either re-install vista or upgrade the version you already have installed using the upgrade option on the install DVD
