HP Printer compatibility issues

I just purchased a Dell Studio 1536 with Vista 32bit Home Edition. I cannot print with my HP 7130 AIO. I have spent hours online/phone with HP and Dell. I see on past threads that this is not a new issue. Anyone have any luck with resolving it before I go out and buy another printer.

Have you gone to HP's website and looked for the drivers? Here's what I found.

HP Officejet 7130 All-in-One Printer*
Select your operating system*
Installing the Printer Driver Located in the Windows Vista Operating System*

Note: If you click the first link and follow it it will take you the the last link, but I provided all three just in case. However, it looks like there are no drivers from HP for your printer for Vista, just instructions on how to install "a basic driver solution" through the Vista operating system, thus you'll need to follow those instuctions to hopefully get your printer to work. Note the introduction:

A full feature software and driver package for Windows Vista is not available for your product. However, the Windows Vista operating system installed on your computer contains a basic driver solution for your product.

Good luck.
