ati radeon hd 2600 driver

i have an ati radeon hd 2600 graphics card, and i am currently using windows visa ultimate64-bit, i have tried the original drivers from the disk and several other drivers from different websites. when i install the drivers it says " this program may no be installed correctly" why is this?

anyone know were to get good working drivers from or why i cannot installed graphics drivers for my card?.....

Did you attempt to remove the old drivers (uninstall)? Have you tried the "official" drivers from... ATI? (Drivers & Software)

If you have an AGP card look here: AMD Customer Care

Again, have you tried the "official" drivers from ATI??? - The lastest drivers from the link I provided?

Try re-installing them by right clicking and running as administrator. This could be a problem with Administrator Privileges.

I gather the card is working ok? Have you run ATI's test program? There may be nothing wrong with your install?

That's a bit of a contradiction in terms. If the Drivers aren't working then the card can't work! Take a look in your device Manager and see which driver the card is using.

i have tried this and the graphics card is fully working as i tried it on my secondary pc, however i think it could be my motherboard not letting me install the drivers....... as on a second graphics card it wouuldnt install but it did detect.
