after installing geforce 180.48 i cant get up to the resolution I had before I cant get 1680 something now i can only get 1024 768 i took it to get my computer worked on and now i can only get that resolution

sounds like you have a bad driver install and you are running off the Vista default. Try uninstalling the Nvidea driver, then reinstalling it by right clicking and selecting Run As Administrator
