| Vista Ult 64bit Windows 7 64 bit Server 2008 RC2 | Re: Touchpad not working but usb mouse does, doesnt work evn wen usb mouse nt plugged Hello Tristan, Welcome to the forums. Been a while since I had a laptop, but I seem to remember there being a setting on what to do with the touchpad when the mouse is plugged in. Unfortunately I don't remember where and have no way of finding it. Have you tried rebooting with the mouse unplugged? Sorry I can't be of more help. The manual for the laptop ought to have that info in it somewhere. Gary |

| Vista Ultimate x64 MAK, OpenSolaris 5, Gentoo 2008.1.... | Re: Touchpad not working, usb mouse does, touchpad never works even w/o usb mouse Uninstall the drivers you installed for the USB mouse - they are overriding or conflicting with the drivers of the touchpad. Actually, on second thought, see if you can get the drivers for the touchpad from the Fujitsu site - that might fix it also. If not, then uninstall the USB mouse drivers, and then you may still have to install the touchpad drivers *again*. |
