windows crashing

Sometimes when i reboot my computer, i get the Blue Screen right after vista loads..
the blue screen stays on for such a short time before restarting again.
also sometimes when i turn on the computer, my monitor does not turn on, i don't know if there is a problem with my graphics card.
and also sometimes the resolution becomes smaller and when i try to change resolution back to how it was and choose my monitor, it makes the screen go blank again. this also happened once while i was playing a graphics intense game farcry 2 at high settings
sorry i do not know how to explain my situation any better but my setup is

6x 2gig corsair ddr3 1300
gigabyte ex-58 extreme motherboard
evga nvidia gtx 260 FTW Edition
windows vista ultimate 64 bit
700 watt power supply
thermaltake armor mid tower

also my computer doesnt run anything higher than 43 degrees celsius when not gaming.
i really have nno idea whats going on, all my drivers are updated, or so i think. any solutions?

Re: windows crashing

Perhaps you don't have the correct driver. Have you tried uninstalling it and reinstalling? Can you post the BSOD, take a picture and post what it says.

First remove some memory dimms!
Btw unfortunately is common problem for Gigabyte motherboards.
I know that because i have ga-x38-ds4 4gb crusial ballistix 1066mhz 700W seasonic
and i had exactly the same problem. And dont update your bios if not necessary.
