| home premium 64 bit | Mouse Pointer keeps going back to default Every time i restart my computer it resets the pointers to default. This is very frustrating cause i really want to use the icons i set them to. Any ideas on how to make vista remember what i set them to. I have the scheme saved. Each time i start the computer i have to go into properties and select OK and the pointers come back. They are even the active pointers when i open properties! i have vista premium 64bit |

| Vista Ultimate X64 SP2 | Re: Mouse Pointer keeps going back to default To avoid the resetting problem, you need to uninstall Setpoint and go to the Startup memu typing "msconfig" after hitting run on the start memu. Even after uninstalling Setpoint, it still remains in the startup menu. You need to uncheck them so they don't automatically load on reboot. Once you do this, your problem should be resolved. |

| home premium 64 bit | Re: Mouse Pointer keeps going back to default only problem is i don't have that program installed. I ran a search and checked in msconfig. No such animal on my computer. Any other ideas? or a better way to find the program you are talking about? |
