Vista - unable to uninstall Lexmark X5150

Hi Guys,
When clicking on Programs & Features to uninstall printer X5150 I get the following error message: %Build Template Error%, I have tried to uninstall it from the Device Manager but I stil cannot uninstall it from Programs and Features.
I would greatly appreciate any help. I hope this will be the last problem I have with Vista.

Try reinstalling the program first, then uninstall it.

Alright, good to know you did try it.

Can you open the folder where the program is located? There should be an uninstall shortcut there.

I have tried to unistall from the folder and got the same error message.Have also deleted all shortcuts related to Lexmark and tryed to uninstall without success. I wanted to try download the driver again from Lexmark site but I was afraid it would make problem worse since Lexmark advise to uninstall previous drivers!

Is there anything else I should try?

Ok, try this:

Open the Command Prompt window (press Start and type cmd)
Type in “set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1″ without the quotes and hit enter
Type in “devmgmt.msc” no quotes and hit enter

This will open the Device Manager. Click "View" -> "Show Hidden Devices"
This will show all the hidden drivers. Now go look for the Lexmark X5150 driver, and right click -> properties. Then select drivers, uninstall. That should work... Maybe

Thank you for your assistance.
I followed the steps as per instructions, unfortunately the driver is still on the Control Panel ( would not uninstall ). In desperation, I tried to download the driver again. After unzipping I get the following msg " Can't create output file.
C:\driver\printer\X5100\pubs\English\LXBAuser.pdf"
Any solution to get rid of this driver ?

Yes! Success! For once, the products own website actually held something useful!

Try using their Uninstall Utility on their website.
Download the utility and follow the instructions here

Hope that gets it off!
