Scanner Updates

I have a new iConvert Scanner by Brookstone for scanning slides or negatives to a PC but it only works with 32 bit. My new system is Vista 64 bit. Does Microsoft offer any work arounds or do anyone have any idea how long before most devices like this will be updated?

Re: Scanner Updates

Have you tried to see if it works on the 64 bit? Most 32 bit programs will still work on a 64 bit machine.

Re: Scanner Updates

Yes. I installed and tried, removed and reinstalled. It was not creating an execute icon on the desktop and when finding the file on the PC, it wouod not work. I wrote the company customer seservice and they say not compatible with 64 bit and no plans. Thanks, I am new to the 64 bit world. I use iTunes and RealPlayer for music and while iTunes 8 works fine but RealPlayer tells me their RealPlayer 11 is not compatible but they are working on it.
