Vista - My vista Blue Refresh theme doesn't work

Hi i have windows home premium 32 bit. i downloaded the blue refresh theme, copied into my \Windows\Resources\Themes folder, and then went to personalization and clicked on the theme. it did not do anything but change the transparency. all the bars are still black. so far i have tried 3 themes and none have worked. help plz?

you cannot use custom themes unless you have theme software installed, ie/ DesktopX, windowblinds. they simply will not work.

What software do i need installed? i installed vistaglazz

its similar to that, what does the theme have as an extension? (what are the letters at the end of the file name eg/ .dream, .theme, .wba)

um it says .theme but when i drag it into the themes folder it changes to just a name. so if it was vista.theme originally, it just changes to vista.
