Microsoft Cordless mouse and Logitech cordless Keyboard cause Vista to hang

Hi,

I am unable to troubleshoot this problem. So may be someone can help me here. I have following devices

1. Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 2.0 (it is wireless mouse)
2. Logitech cordless Keyboard, Model # Y-RC14 (again wireless kboard)

The version of Vista is Home Premium 64 bit . I connect both the devices to USB ports of my laptop (HP Pavalion dv5). When system boots everything works fine. When I go to school, I disconnect the devices and I hibernate the system. When I come back to home, I power on the system and it works fine. But when I re-connect the devices, system freezes. I am trying to troubleshoot which of the two devices causes this. Today I found that when I connect mouse, it works perfectly, but when I connect the keyboard after that the system froze.

The Logitech website tells that the driver in Vista is sufficient.

These devices used to work fine on my older Dell laptop with Windows XP home.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Prabhat
