Vista - Windows slideshow in Photo Gallery--> system hangs up

It would be pleased if someone could give me a flavor for the following problem, it made me crazy for a while:

As I want to show the photos in slideshow (either by pressing button or F12) in Window Photo Gallery, the system would hang up and some disrupted colour is showed. (yellow and green with vibrating) No photo is shown and I have to restart the system.
In some case, blue screen would appear.

There is no problem in normal using (word, watching movie, window media player.......) but only I can't show photos in slideshow.

I would like to know is there any problem about display card or physical memory? Really thanks for your kindly help.
