| vista 32 bit | Epson Smart Panel (opening error) Not sure if this is a driver problem? I have plugged my Epson Perfection 1250 Photo Scanner into my Vista32. I have down loaded a Twain driver etc and tried to load the original CD, but it doesn't have any effect. All that comes up is 'File Opening Error'! Has anyone got any ideas please? |

| Windows 7 64Bit Beta | Re: Epson Smart Panel (opening error) Alan, I've just installed the Epson 1670 Vista64 bit drivers into Win 7 64 Bit beta with no issues. I extracted the contents of the zip file to a location on my hard drive and then used the 'update driver software' from the right click menu when the imaging device is selected from Windows Device Manager and pointed it to the relevent folder. This loaded the driver no problems. I've also used this method on Vista HP and Win7 32 Bit beta. I would recommend un-installing your scanner via the device manager and rebooting prior to trying it out. Regards Martyn |
