| Vista Home Premium 64bit | Realtek Manager Missing Options On my old PC I had Realtek HD Audio to, but on my new one I'm missing some options and my front panel buttons are gone in the manager, it no longer asks me which device I have connected to any of the six jacks on the back of the board, and the two front jacks don't work. I have tried to install v1.78, 1,65, 1.85, 2.09, 2,14, and I have remembered to clean out the old drivers first. It's vista x64 I have and it's a Realtek ALC888 on a Asrock board. I hope you have some suggestions, and thanks in advance. |

| Windows 7 x64 build 7100 & Ubuntu 9.04 | Re: Realtek Manager Missing Options Alright. I have another idea. Open up your case, and check to see that the connector from the front of the case is indeed plugged into the motherboard. If not, that is your problem. ~Lordbob |

| Vista Ultimate x64 | Re: Realtek Manager Missing Options Though you say everything's hooked up right, perhaps it'll help to re-install everything (hardware). Be sure you have put in the Hi-Def audio connector on your motherboard, and not the AC '97. |
