Vista - Netgear WGR614 64 bit driver?

I bought a Netgear WGR614 wirless router and the disc says "this driver is not compatible with your OS...click exit to close this setup" I went to their website and they are "working on it" they have some 64 bit drivers for certain products. Just in case you have 64 bit Vista...don't buy one of these. I just can't believe how long 64 bit OSs have been out and these companies can't catch up. Is it that hard to code these things?

Anyway does anybody know anything different from what I said there? Am I missing something. I don't dare install the 32 bit and hope for the best.

I took the Netgear router back and got a Linksys WRT54GS wireless g router. I am wondering if anybody can tell me what to do here. I follow the directions to the T and the software says it can't connect properly. However both computers I wanted to connect are working great. No problems. Should I just go with it? Am I going to run into problems? Thanks.
