| | Nvidia Geforce drivers do not allow monitor to turn off after shutdown I am not sure if anyone has ever experienced this phenomenon, but after I install the Nvidia Geforce video drivers for my Windows Vista x64 system, my monitor will not go into sleep mode after a proper Windows shutdown. I know this happens for sure due to the video drivers because when I use the default/standard VGA drivers provided by Vista, the monitor works as usual. I am running a tri-sli setup consisting of three 9800 gtx's and my monitor is a 28" Hanns-g HG281D. I've contacted Hanns-g/Hannspree for an answer but they could only tell me to switch my monitor's input settings to "pc." However, this particular model does not include any such setting and they finally agreed to that after I insisisted forever. Any ideas? Thanks for your input. |
