| vista home premium 32bit | no sound on vista home editon 32 bit Hi to all! I just join in this forum in the hope that somebody could help me. I just recently install vista home edition 32 bit on my asus p5gl mx motherboard. Unfortunately, there isnt any sound that will come out from my altec lansing 151i speaker(5.1). I tried to install the audio driver from the cd that comes with the motherboard but vista would say that the hardware doesnt support the software. It used to function well on my windows xp sp 3. Now, I dont have any sound at all. The os showed the volume control panel and it wasnt muted but to my surprise there isnt anyt sound coming out from the speakers. Could you please help me out on this matter. thanks in advance! |

| Vista home premium 64 bit | Re: no sound on vista home editon 32 bit I have had a good look at the web and can not find any drivers for the onboard audio. Have you tried an Audio card and use that. It will diable the onboard sound. This way you will get sound and it will be alot cheaper than a new motherboard. |
