| Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit | toshiba 105a satallite a105 dvd drive I am having problems with the ma****a dvd drive and the accoustic silencer? did a clean install of vista home prem. have also updated the accoustic silencer to 2.0 but system hangs when burning music to a cd. under xp you could disable this feature. any thing more I can do when running vista? toshiba sucks on this drive. running 2gig mem. | 32bit Home premium | Re: toshiba 105a satallite a105 dvd drive My problem was too many programs trying to hook into dvd. Apple software mainly. Removed filters and problem was resolved. |

I also find that the memory upgrade to 2gig does not seem to show up in the screen from control panel, system. general info. I have read that some have problems upgrading memory and so I think maybe it is time to upgrade laptops. Larry |
