Vista - I Dont Have Drivers is it improtant ... ?

I bought Hp dv6502au last year and they did'nt provide me with drivers Cd ....


well now i have VISTA as well as Windows Seven downloaded ... i have installed Seven in my friends Dell lappy ... but not in mine coz i dont have drivers ...

is it necessary to download alll them drivers from HP site or it will work fine if i install and then let windows to update automatically or ther is any option i can copy it from my laptop itself ? ? ? i see a drivers folder in windows .....

Drivers are necessary, but Vista (and Sevens) driver base is huge. All my devices work without drivers (the built in ones). The only advantage to device specific drivers is customization and things. Installing Seven on a newer laptop (not brand new) would work just fine. If something doesn't work right, get the driver and install it. You will be fine.

i will download all my drivers from hp site ... its bout 400MB ... or mo ...

but the thing is ..... it is not necessary to install them drivers in a process like 1st may be video then audio or something ?

or we can do it radomly ...

No it does not matter the order, and as I said, both Vista and Seven will probably support it without third party drivers.
