If you go to the Gigabyte website, there will be info on how to update the BIOS.
Are there dangers? Yeah. Flashing the BIOS is always a slightly nervous time because if something goes wrong half-way through you generally end up with an unbootable machine which cannot be fixed without some real low-level hardware trickery. That very rarely happens, as long as you follow the mobo manufacturer's advice.
Have backups of all your data first of course. That's just common sense.
