hi i am new here and i hope i am posting this in the right section now ive been to several other vista websites asking for help but nothing has work so far so i am hoping you guys might be able to give me some help.Ok so about like a week ago my cd/dvd drive stopped working it wont read anything and the light is not showing up on the side tell me its thinking now ive gone to the properties of the cd/dvd drive and it says everything is working properly and the drive is updated i can only open the drive up manually and not by the button on the side. Now ive unistalled the drive and restarted the computer and it intsalled the drive again but still nothing will load and cant open it up with the button on the side and my dvd drive type is TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-L632D ATA Device.please if anybbody can help me out i would greatly appreciate it because i would not like to have to take it back to the store cause last time i did i got my computer scratched by the store and we made them give me a brand new computer and i do not want to go through that hassle again so again if you can help me out i would greatly appreciate it thanks for your time:)
