Startuprepair ... Help

Hey guys and girls,

I really need your help here!!...
My PC wont start onto my Desktop Screen, the only thing you can see is the "System Recovery", and the "System Recovery" doesnt work (it wont repair).

The computer did shutdown while I completed an programinstallation, probably a virus?:S

looks like the built in startup repair is corrupt , this isusually stored on a seperate partition on your hard drive , im assuming its a shop bought pc and you have no actual Vista disc , with a Vista disc you can do a repair , if your repair files are corrupt there really is no option for you :( have you tried ringing Acer support?

or you could try making a repair disk Windows Vista Recovery Disc Download — The NeoSmart Files
