Suggestion to remove a driver

Hi,
I was asked to remove a driver to improve the performance(attachment) but I am not sure how to do this and definitely I do not want to remove any drivers which might break my system. Could you please let me know how to do this as I haven't a clue about this.

Re: Suggestion to remove a driver

Does that always happen when you resume from sleep or was that a one-off?

Disabling and removing drivers is easy (SC CONFIG igdkmd32 START= DISABLED) but you more than likely don't want to do that due to the nature of the driver in question. The delay might be symptomatic of something lower down within the hardware.

Unless it happens constantly, I'd suggest you ignore it. Even if it always happens on resume, you're better off ignoring it unless there's other symptoms to worry about

Thanks H2SO4, I'll just ignore that as you have suggested, no it doesn't appear often and the performance is also not affected to be noticed. Thanks again for clearing up for me.

No probs mate

You might find that a driver update eventually resolves the (relatively unimportant) issue.
