| Vista Business x64 | Optical drive problem The problem I'm having is whenever Vista hibernates the CD-ROM drive will not work anymore, and is then detected as a HD DVD-ROM drive and two other CD-ROM drives appear in My Computer. The drive is a Sony NEC Optiarc 20X DVD+-R DVD burner IDE Model AD-7190A. When looking through Device Manager it says I have the latest driver for it. |

| Vista x64 Ultimate | Re: Optical drive problem Can you update the firmware on the drives? It sounds more like a firmware issue than drivers. |

| Vista Bussiness x64 PL | Re: Optical drive problem Download this:Frog Aspi - the FREE wnaspi32.dll replacement Place wnaspi32.dll in C:\Windows\SYSWOW64 uninstall driver for DVD and restart computer,system will reinstall driver for DVD during restart.May you'll have great luck and it help you. |
