so i'm pretty much software illiterate. but lately my webcam hasn't been working. i just get black screens, but my mic does work, because when i opened up video chat on aim, my friend could hear but not see me. i'm using a Toshiba pc. i copied the model and satellite number off of the bottom if that helps at all.

i've looked on other forums and i know it has something to do with the driver, i just don't know how to go about finding said driver or uninstalling the one i have or installing a new one. Please help!!!!

Go here,

Toshiba Support - Homepage

Select the type (notebook), family (Satellite), and model number (A305-S6858), then on the next page select Vista (not Vista 64) as the OS and find any needed drivers there.
