| Windows Vista Home Premium 32 Bit | How do i access the BIOS so i can disable hardware? Exactly as the title says, I need to access BIOS so i can disable a network card within the computer, i THINK it might solve my problem on why i cant get into windows at all because when i tried to load into safe mode the files stopped loading after crcdisk.sys Any ideas would be a great help, my step dads getting a little annoying when he doesnt have his laptop working. |

Accessing the BIOS is done typically by pressing a function key but.... this problem may have nothing to do with your network card or even hardware in the laptop. Sounds like a Vista issue. Can the computer boot normally? What was going on when the computer first gave you this issue? Where any changes done to the computer software/Vista prior to this issue? |

Yep, usually after hitting on the DEL key a few times at boot time, the bios screen comes on but, on laptops, it may be a different key or couple of keys string together... it pretty much depends on what brand you have |
