| VISTA HOME PREMIUM | Installing printer on laptop with vista please help. I am trying to install a hp psc1310 series all-in-one printer on acer laptop with vista home. It tells me i do not have administrator privleges. I am the adminstrator and then i change to standard and this does not work. please help!!! carol ann |

| Vista x64 + Windows 7 x64 (Ultimate) | Re: Installing printer on laptop with vista Posting your computer specs always helps when troubleshooting a problem. Is your Vista 32 or 64? One suggestion would be to: Insert the CD but do not install from Autoplay, if given a chance, tell it to "Explore" it, when you see the executable, right click on it and "Run as Administrator". If that does help, your printer may not support Vista or you may need to update your printer drivers to Vista drivers. |
