| Vista Home | Cannot Install Digital Persona finger print as Biometric Logon service cannot be star Hi All, I have HP dv5 -1106ax with Vista 32 bit Home edition . I was using digital persona fingerprint s/w until few days back . but then windows updated the product to version 3.1 and then it stopped working. I uninstalled it and tried installing it again ..but to no luck. It gives an error saying it cannot start Biometric Authentication service on Local Computer , due to some admin right issues . Now my account has admin rights but still I am unable to start this service. Also I have tried using the latest update from HP website for this, but it did nit help.. Please help asap. Vista restored it ...But now Fingerprint Reader is not allowing my account to enroll ....It is giving an error message that "Fingerprint Logon manager cannot enroll your account.Contact your sys admin"... But I have admin priveleges ... Please advice |
