Please Help with Touchpad problem!

I have installed an Alps touch pad driver and while it works, I cannot adjust the touch pad to actually use the touch pad to "click"--- right now it is set to the left button as the single and double click. I don't see anywhere to adjust this and it just sort of changed all of a sudden. Also the keyboard is making funny jumps around where I have already typed and I wonder if this is related to the driver in any way. I have gotten used to and like the way of using the touch pad to click on things instead of this button and this is driving me nuts! I tried to install another driver and it didn't even have any touch pad settings at all! Agghhh....

Please help if you can!

Geri

Re: Please Help with Touchpad problem!

just uninstall all your touchpad drivers and reboot , let the generic vista driver handle your touchpad (it'll install automatically on reboot and detection of new hardware), apparently is quite good
