| Vista Ultimate | Realtek RTL8101 I bought a new Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Li3170 with Windows Vista Home Basic, and then upgraded it with Windows Vista Ultimate. Most things seem to run fine, but a fatal element missing is the net connection. Something is wrong with the wireless network adapter, because a notice: The network adapter “Realtek RTL8101 Family PCI-E Fast Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0)” is experiencing driver or hardware related issues. Previous version of Vista used to work smoothly? What should be done? |

| Vista x64 + Windows 7 x64 (Ultimate) | Re: Realtek RTL8101 I would download the latest driver for it from Realtek, uninstall the one you have now, restart and install a fresh copy... never let Windows update drivers on its own via Windows Update. |
