| Vista home premium 32bit | ATI Radeon 200 Express Code 43 Hi, I recently purchased a computer from a friend of a friend. It is an Hp/Compaq (although besides an insignia, I do not see any model number) with Vista Home Premium 32 bit installed on it. The problem I am having is that the driver for the display adapter is not functioning properly. In device manager it says "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)" for my ATI Radeon 200 Series. I noticed this issue when I tried to change a screensaver and it states it "can't run because it requieres a newer video card or one that's compatible with Direct3d." After trying to download several versions of catalyst, I still cannot get it to work. Any help? |
