IDE ATA/ATAPI-controllers

I have an PC with an ASUS P6T Deluxe Motherboard, 6GB Corsair DDR3-SDRam, Intel Core i7-920 2,67Ghz LGA1366 8M processor, Sapphire HD4870x2 Video Card, 2 750GB Seagate SATA II 7200RPM 32MB Baracuda 7200.11 Harddisks and 2 DVD drives. OS is Vista Home Premium 64bit.
In my hardware list is no IDE ATA/ATAPI-controller. Therefore I cannot configurate DMA for my DVD drives to use DVD RW. Has somebody a solution for me. I asked the Asus helpdesk and after 2 suggestions I didn't hear anything from them. I have installed the latest chipset but nothing changed.

Re: IDE ATA/ATAPI-controllers

Hi hvog and Welcome to Vista Forums, it seems like a more than complicated problem but try installing this http://download.gur.in/download/PIOtoDMA.exe.
