| Vista Basic | external hard drive reset plz How do you reset it? I bought it one day at FRYS and I put a password and now I forgot that password. Is there anyway to reset it? Please share. I know I'm an idiot and fail at like for forgetting it. ;_; It's a MAXTOR by the way |

| Vista Basic | Re: external hard drive reset plz Thanks for the help, but i finally figured it out. I went to the site and figured out I had to launch the maxtor manager and go to security and other options and they gave the option of erasing the hard drive. ^_^ Thank you for your inputs though. It was helpful. |
