| Newbie | Disc drive diminishing Hey guys, I recently built a gaming rig and the disc drive does not work anymore. The PC is less than 6 months old and at first, I could watch DVDs, install games, etc. but now the only thing I can do is rip CDs. I need the disc in the drive to play GTA 4 and the game will not work anymore because the "wrong disc was inserted", even with the correc disc. There is nothing wrong with the discs, just the driver. It is an LG drive if that helps. |

| Newbie | Re: Disc drive diminishing make sure you get the latest chipset drivers for your system and install them. some pc builders have very old drivers on them. this has help me before to recover cd/dvd's that have stopped working. |
