| Vista Home Premium 64bit | Vista 64bit &rar files Running Vista Home Premium 64bit (came on laptop). Every time I try downloading rar file it appears to download ok but does NOT put it where I direct it to. When I do finally locate a reference to where it went, there is nothing in the file. This is driving me bats! Please help. |

| Vista ultimate 64 bit SP2 | Re: Vista 64bit &rar files this sounds like a UAC problem and permissions. install this Add "Take Ownership" to Explorer Right-Click Menu in Vista :: the How-To Geek and take ownership of the place you want to download the file too and see if that works |
