A2DP not available for Vista x64?

I have a Bluetooth headset (Sonorix C3) that I'm trying to setup to work with my HP tx1000 laptop that runs Vista Ultimate x64. The laptop and the device will pair, but when I try to turn on the headset functionality I get told I need a device driver. Looking online I found information that implied there might be a Broadcom solution, but after downloading that file, it told me it couldn't support the device. So I thought I would update my bluetooth driver on the HP, but after DLing the package from the HP site, it starts to install, and then gives me an error message that it can only install on Windows Vista...

SO... anyone else gotten this to work? Any suggestions I haven't tried already?

Thanks in advance!

OK, so no one else has done this? Or it's a known issue? Or... ?

Sorry, but it's just so frustrating to be caught in this particular loop.

i just use this to move data around may not be for you i guess.
Your issue is a lack of X64 drivers for this product.
I hope I can help, if I can't someone out there may know:)

Well... I've DL'd and installed BlueSoleil, and it looks like it might work. However, while I paid for the upgrade, I haven't received a serial number from the company, and until I get that I can only get it to recognize that I have the device before it closes up. Have tried their online help, but it doesn't recognize the transaction ID I got from their confirmation page or from my PayPal receipt.

I'm going to presume that if you're using it successfully that I will eventually hear from them, and then hopefully I can continue testing.

What's most "amusing" about this is that some of the other Sonorix devices ship with a copy of BlueSoleil. So I have a sneaking suspicion that when they tested this one, it didn't occur to them to test it on a machine that didn't already have BlueSoleil installed :D
