| Home Premium 64 bit | Driver update for HP PSC 1350 Is there a compatible driver update for the HP PSC1350 printer for Vista 64 bit? HP does not have one. I see ads for various driver updates - usually about $30. Are they a fix or not? Driver Robot for example. My printer will sometimes work and then sometime not, very frustrating. In addition is always prints a test page 1st before anything else - ![]() Very upset with HP for not accommodating or dealing with this problem with such a popular printer - a wet noodle slap for HP |

| Vista Ultimate x64, SP2 | Re: Driver update for HP PSC 1350 Hello fllollipop, 3rd party drivers can sometimes help, but for printers they tend to be generic, so the driver may or may not work, there is only one way to find out, but you should never have to pay for a driver. You say the printer works sometimes, have you tried running it in compatibilty mode ?. Also take a look here, they seem to think the Vista driver is enough. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/d...product=306888 When you install a driver, install as administrator. |

I removed everything associated with the printer and just plugged it in and let Vista "do it's thing". Seem to be working OK - I haven't tried scanning - but still prints an instruction page when 1st turned on .I do not know what you mean by compatibility mode - please explain. |
