Driver Issues-Webcam

Everytime I try to install my webcam, it says Found New Hardware,so i push Install Driver..then it searches at the bottom, but everytime i get an error message "Windows couldnt find driver software for your device",but i have installed the webcam driver software over and over.. so i push "Check for a solution"..then it says could not find driver software HELP

Yeah I keep getting this as well. It has been angering me as well. Can someone please help with this?

Try this, create a new folder on your desktop and put the drivers in there, when it asks for a driver point it towards the new folder and install it manually.

thanx for replying stoneys-nuts,
i have tried this already and got the same error messages as before. It says it couldnt load the device for image.

How about in safe mode ?. Also, what make of web cam is it ?.

F8 on bootup or open msconfig, to do that press
1,start,
2,run,
3,type msconfig, on the boot tab check safe boot, and reboot, (dont forget to change it back while in safe mode)

Ok, found this fix, it's for a similar device.
Let me knew how it goes.

Found New Hardware Wizard error message: The class installer registry entry is invalid
