| Vista Ultimate 64bit | Latest Nvidia drivers Ok so the deal is everytime i install the latest drivers from NVIDIA i get a blue screen, it does not occur when i install the drivers from the cd for my graphics card, no other issues with any other drivers, have tried a fresh install of vista and installed latest video drivers first still same bluescreen, i have tried with a different video card to no avail still same issue, any help appreciated Sys Info Asus P5Q SE2 - New / Old is a Asus Striker Extreme, replaced mainboard trying to resolve issue Intel Quad Core 2.4 4Gb Kingston HyperX 1066 Gigabyte Geforce GTX285 1 x 500Gb HDD 1 x 640Gb HDD Antec 900 Case Logitech G19 Gaming Keyboard Logitech MX400 Laser Mouse P.S I have tried windows 7 and i still get the same issue Last edited by Savage001; 07-20-2009 at 09:54 PM.. |

| Vista x64 + Windows 7 x64 (Ultimate) | Re: Latest Nvidia drivers Does your monitor have the x64 driver/profile as well? Have you uninstalled the installed drivers before installing the new one? What about the PhysX drivers, did you uninstalled this as well? When you install the drivers, do you do so with Higher Privileges? (Right Click on file and "Run as Administrator?") I have found that uninstalling both the driver and physX helps me tremendously. |
