Hey guys. I am kinda frustrated. I just put together a new computer and upgraded (?) from Windows XP x64 to Windows Vista Ultimate x64. Now everything appears well and good until I try to connect to the Internet. I cannot connect. I went to the "connect" icon and it says there is nothing to connect to. I am wired right into my ethernet port and should be able to connect. I am not sure if there are drivers that did not load, but that brings the question...how do I load them without having Internet access. I can not find any driver spots to dowload to a flash drive. ANY and all help would be great help. I really want to get back on the 'net as soon as possible.
you going to need to give if some system specs, most importantly we need you motherboard make and model
I personaly feel your lacking in Ethernet drivers although i could be wrong but without knowing the motherboard make and model i can not advise you on the correct drivers to install
realtek? nvidia? other? the sooner we can gain enough info about you pc the quicker we can have you back browsing the interweb:D
I am up and running. I built the computer and loaded all the drivers (with Windows XP x64 as OS)...THEN upgraded to Vista without thinking I would have to REinstall everything that I had just installed. I am doing the 6GB update from the Ultimate pack as I type this. Thanks for the response.:D
