VGA Adapter won't start.

hello guys. it's been really inspiring following problems and suggestions and all. however, I must say I still need help here. The VGA adapter for my Laptop is not working(code 10 error it says). I have attempted reinstalling the hardware a number of times and it reinstalls but won't start. Now my game performance is very slow- 'Hardware acceleration not enabled' it reads and so on. Pls.what do I do?:confused:
