Are you using the latest service pack and security updates?

I had a problem one time (and you dont have a seperate sound card) where if you didnt install this one update from microsoft, upon closing a game, the CPU cycles would be 100% because of sound card holdup.

This could be caused from a program as well, but im not sure because
this is a newer issue than the one i had.

So that was what i was looking at as well....

None the less, from the BSOD, it's hardware issue from playing BattleField 2142.

You probably hardcore game sometimes on it too correct? Overclocked GPU or CPU maybe?

All drivers latest and Directx runtimes are up to date?

Just shootin out some idea's. correct me if any of these are wrong.

Well...

I do have some out of date drivers (8 drivers) maybe that could be causing the problems

Just be safe, first of all, update your video drivers if thats one, then soundcard (if you have one and need an update for that as well) and then 3rd motherboard drivers if necessary.

Also, check if BF2142 has any newer patches available. I have heard this game has given others lots of grief as well however, its a good game to play.
