i have accidentally deleted the 'temp' folder in my laptop while clearing up my files. the full path of the folder is C:\Windows\Temp

now a lot of programmes cannot run properly eg. Windows Live Messenger(Contacts gone), McAfee, and the Windows Sidebar.

is there any way to solve this problem?

Just create C:\Windows\Temp like any other folder + restart.Next time remove only includes but this folder you have to leave

My Computer

check your envronmental settings, go to system, change settings, advanced tab & click envronmental variables and check ur temp folders.

You can also move them elsewhere like ive done.
