Vista X64 Driver needed....HELP

I have a motherboard that I need to update the ethernet drivers for. I have Vista X64 and I need to find the drivers for it. It says that I need this 1.

Realtek PCIe GBE family controller network Adapter version 6.225.0703.2009. I sure can't find it anywhere. The version I have Installed now has a 2006 date so I would think.

I guess I need a link to download the driver. I have looked and looked and I do find some but they all say that they are not supported for Vista X64.

Can someone help me with a download link please!! i just can't seem to find the 1 I need. I have software that tells me that there is a newer version out there but i'll be damned if i can find it.

PLEASE help me if you can.

thank you.

My god. I thank you so so so much. I don't know how you found it but I do thank you very much.

All I gotta do now is find the Realtek audio drivers also. I have the Realtek 97C I think it is. This site is amazing. When ever I can't find something I can ALWAYS come to this site and someone is always able to help me.

I have got the Motherboard from Gigabyte. It's a Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. P35-DS3L. When I installed Vista X64 the drivers that Windows put in didn't work at all.

Maybe it will be easier to find the Audio drivers.

I thank you again.

The gigabyte sounds drivers are usually called "High Definition Audio Codecs" try this it should be the right driver for your motherboard: Realtek

I tried to use my software to download this newer version but they want me to pay $29.99 a year to be able to download it from where ever it is.

Think maybe you could find the (6.225.0703.2009) version for me. I would be forever in your debt if you could.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Mike,

First of all, uninstall the so-called driver locater program that you have installed and which is asking you to pay to download. I class this sort of program as trashware. You will find information on the latest driver version, as well as a download link, here http://www.vistax64.com/sound-audio/64250-latest-realtek-hd-audio-driver-version.html

Sorry. I guess I didn't explain myself very well. The driver I'm looking for is the ethernet driver version (6.225.0703.2009 not the audio driver.

Unless the driver I need is in the audio program download? I build computers but don't know to much about the software part of them...lol.

Thanks for the quick reply. Its really weird that I simply can not find that driver on Realtek's web page. I'm beginning to think that there isn't (6.225.0703.2009) one. out as of yet.

Yes that is the driver I need. Version 6.225.0703.2009 is the 1 I need. For the ethernet card on my motherboard. The 6.225.0703.2009 is the same as 6.225.0703 I would think.

Hi Mike,

Sorry, I thought you were on about your audio drivers as well. This is the Ethernet driver you require.

Are you saying that you want the version you mentioned because of what the driver locator said? The version above is the latest, direct from the Realtek website.

Amazing. could you send me step by step on how to get where you are getting this? If it's not to much trouble. It has got me pissed off now. I just don't understand why i can't find it.

thank.
